Alessandra Mella was born in Feltre (BL) and she began her musical career when she was very young starting to learn to play the piano at the age of five. At the same time she also began singing lessons with Mariasilvia Roveri, thanks to whom she became a member of the "Nova Cantica" choir for nine years, taking part in international choral competitions.

Thanks to her experience in the choir she discovered her musical talent as a soloist and at the age of sixteen began studying bel canto under the guidance of soprano Koo Hyeon Jeong first, and then of soprano Elisabetta Tandura, that led her to obtaining her diploma with full marks at the “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto (TV).

In 2009 she held three performances in China (Beijing, Dalian and Xi’an) on occasion of the 2009 ISFNT.

She won the third prize at the “F. Lattuada” International Bel Canto Competition in Milan.

She continued her technical refinement with soprano Tatiana Chivarova and soprano Cosetta Tosetti. She was heard and appreciated by prominent names on the musical scene, such as Enza Ferrari, Alida Ferrarini, Raina Kabaivanska, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Fiorenza Cedolins.

In 2013 she’s selected and participate in M° Renato Bruson masterclass in Accademia Musicale Chigiana (Siena).

She also is a jury member in the International Singing Competition “F. Lattuada” in Milan.

In 2014 she made his debut with “Barbiere di Siviglia” in the role of Berta in Imperia.

She was selected by Enrico Stinchelli Taormina Opera Stars for the roles of Mimì and Liù and performed with great success in Taormina in April 2015.

She sang in August 2015 in Gran Galà “Italia InCANTA” organized by Taormina Opera Stars in Taormina Greek Ancient Theatre. She was selected for Torre del Lago Puccini Academy (first and second level) under the guidance of soprano Maria Pia Jonata.

She sang at the opening concert of prestigious Torre del Lago Puccini Festival in 2016.

She performs in concert halls and theaters, including Teatro Comunale in Belluno, Palace of the Prefecture in Belluno, Treviso Eden Theatre and Teatro Comunale, Theatre Sant'Afra in Brescia, Teatro Verdi in Padua, Taormina Ancient Theatre, Sala Belvedere and Puccini Theatre in Torre del Lago, and many others.

In december 2016 she played the role of Magda in G. Puccini “La Rondine” in the charming setting of Villa Argentina (Viareggio), organized by Torre del Lago Puccini Festival. There were numerous concerts in which she had the honor to perform in the context of Torre del Lago Puccini Festival.

She will play the role of Musetta in G. Puccini “La Bohème” during the summer edition 2017 of the prestigious Torre del Lago Puccini Festival, sharing the stage with Silvana Froli and Piotr Beczala.
